Griffin Goodman, a Metro-Detroit native, currently attends Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida. He is pursuing his Bachelor’s of Fine Arts with a Minor in Business. From a young age, doodling cartoon characters and drawing in his sketchbook had always been a fun activity for him, and he proved to be very talented at it. His hobby had slowly turned into his passion, and he decided to pursue his dreams of becoming an artist by attending Ringling. While his degree is focusing on fine arts of painting and drawing, he also has taken extensive classes regarding sculptures, printmaking, time based, and 4d motion design. His art covers all spectrums, yet has a strong influence by popular culture: hip hop, sneakers, and celebrities. After being involved in the art and clothing community, Griffin decided it was time to combine both his extensive knowledge of art with his admiration for the clothing industry. Ultimately, his goal is to create a brand of clothing and art pieces that are affordable to all, highly fashionable, incorporate cool and unique art designs, and represent his interests. Goodboy Griffin is where the worlds of art and streetwear collide.
